The University of Damascus, in collaboration with the Syrian British Medical Society (SBMS) and the Association for Medical Education (AMES), invites healthcare professionals, medical students, and those interested in medical education to attend an intensive introductory session on the Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE).
The session will provide an introduction to the OSCE examination system, with a focus on understanding its structure, purpose, and role in assessing clinical competencies. The event will also offer an opportunity to learn from experienced UK-based medical educators and gain valuable insights into modern approaches to clinical assessment.
The session will feature contributions from Dr. Ala Abbara and Dr. Mohammad Alhaj Ali, with the session moderated by both speakers. The presentation will be delivered by Dr. Ahed Abu Younes, Vice President of Damascus University.
